For all u haters that dont think Creed should be on the list, they f’n ROCKED until they put out Human Clay, and even that cd was good except for a couple songs. And Nickelback IS metal wether u want to admit it or not. they actually started out as a Metallica cover band. Nirvana does belong on this list so dont say they dont.
Sorry for the bands that got snubbed like Slayer, Godsmack, and Staind. but they just arent good enough for the top 25, maybe the top 30 though.
Yeah this list blows…. big time. I can’t even agree with you on your number one answer, Metallica. While they may be great and all, they haven’t maintained their sound throughout the years and therefore lose credibility. As I was scrolling further down and saw bands like Creed, Slipknot, Korn, and Nirvana, i suddenly realized this list was a complete joke. Nothing more. I’d say the VAST majority of bands up there aren’t even metal qualifying. What really took the cake was Iron Maiden’s complete lack of first place, and Slayer’s complete lack of being on the damn list.
Where’s the METAL bands!!??? Please show some respect towards the brilliant genre by honoring REAL metal!!! This list is a sad disappointment to music EVERYWHERE and I just have to say that this list fails MISERABLY along with you and your blind reality of what metal truly is.
