what OS should I get to install on it from scratch on my PowerBook G3? ?
I recently bought a PowerBook G3 Wallstreet II. I upgrade the HD to a 20 GB and installed two 128 MB memory cards to the laptop. Now the problem is that I never received a OS on the Powerbook. So then I bought Mac OS 10.2 (Jaguar). It came with a Mac OS X Developer tools CD. And I thought I could use the Developers CD to install the OS but what appears is a folder split in half, and when I Put the Mac 10.2 CD 1 in the screen darkens when the installer begins, but its still visible and the mouse is stuck. Is it possible the disks are faulty or Is it possible I have to buy OS 9 first? Any information or links are well appreciated. Thanks in Advance.
